Marianthi under her great-grandmother’s wisteria at her family’s ancestral home in Kefalonia, Greece

Anthi Jewelry is designed by Marianthi Vlachos, a third generation Greek-American, as a creative outlet to cultivate her Hellenic roots.

In Greek, Anthi (άνθη) translates to flower or blossom. Anthi has been one of Marianthi’s many nicknames since childhood.

When Marianthi was a little girl, she began spending her summers in Greece, each trip marked by the purchase of a piece of fine jewelry. Year after year, her jewelry collection grew, with each new treasure serving as a warm reminder of memories made with family under the Mediterranean sun.

Knowing firsthand the power of the sentimentality that jewelry holds, she began designing her own jewelry pieces in 2019.

Marianthi works with multi-generational jewelry workshops in Athens, Greece to produce her collections. Choosing to manufacture in Greece allows the employment of traditional Hellenic jewelry fabrication techniques, making Anthi’s pieces a unique combination of the old world craftsmanship with forward thinking design.
